Who We Are

Our scope includes the clean up of legacy waste and protecting water quality in and around Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), as well as shipping waste off-site for permanent disposal. Legacy waste is defined as waste that was generated before 1999.

Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy

We manage the 10-year, $2.1 billion Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for the U.S. Department of Energy Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office.

N3B is a limited liability company owned by HII Nuclear, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, and BWX Technologies. Critical subcontractors are Tech2 Solutions and Longenecker & Associates.

DOE EM-LA Field Office

DOE EM-LA was established in 2014 by the DOE to specifically manage the cleanup of legacy contamination and waste resulting from nuclear weapons development and government-sponsored nuclear research at LANL.
