Kristin Henderson

RSI Stakeholder Affairs, Director

Kristin Henderson is the Director of Stakeholder Affairs for Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B). She manages stakeholder engagement, internal and external communications and community commitment for N3B.

Prior to joining N3B, Henderson served on the Los Alamos County Council from 2013-2016 serving as Chair in 2015. During her term she served as liaison to DOE Environmental Management (EM) and as a member of the Executive Board of the Energy Communities Alliance. In 2017, she served as the EM liaison for the Regional Development Corporation Board of Directors. Henderson has lived in Los Alamos since 2006 and ran a successful small business before joining N3B at its inception in 2018.

Henderson earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California and a law degree from UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles, California. She is a 2016 Emerge New Mexico graduate and the founder of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park – Los Alamos Friends Group in 2017.

N3B manages the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for the U.S. Department of Energy, Environmental Management’s Los Alamos Field Office. N3B is a limited liability company owned by HII Nuclear, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), and BWX Technologies.
