Tom Harrison
Program Manager, Quality Assurance and Transformation
He has 34 years of experience in the delivery of business and technical requirements for nuclear facilities, including all aspects of program management and continuous improvement. Tom was formerly Program Manager for processing and canisterization of spent nuclear fuel at the Naval Reactors Facility at Idaho National Laboratory. He was the Site Manager for the Kesselring Site Operation, and Lab Director at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory.
He was the Performance Excellence Vice President for Consolidated Nuclear Security overseeing groups at Pantex and Y-12. In this role he was responsible for the Contractor Assurance Program, Lean and Six Sigma, technical and leadership training, and strategic planning. He served at the WIPP site for two years in a variety of capacities in the operations and compliance areas.
Harrison earned his bachelor of science degree in marine mechanical engineering and master’s degree in nuclear engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy. He holds a Qualified Reactor Plant Operator Certification.
N3B manages the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for the U.S. Department of Energy, Environmental Management’s, Los Alamos Field Office. N3B is a limited liability company owned by HII Nuclear, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), and BWX Technologies.
