Victoria Chadwick, field engineering team lead for the ER Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Remediation Program, saw a need and the opportunity to reinforce the use of proper hand signals for team members serving as spotters for vehicles backing up. She led an initiative to design, print and distribute backing hand signals badge lanyard cards for the RCRA Remediation field teams.
Victoria was nominated as a Safety Champion by one of her coworkers, who said, “Victoria’s enthusiasm and follow-through were impressive and contagious.”
